The Role

Someone Willing to Keep Showing Up

Sometimes a young person simply needs someone trustworthy who is willing to listen and keep showing up.

Ragnarok Performance Sports is building a mentorship program to connect young people with consistent, positive adult mentors who can provide guidance, accountability, character development, and a reliable presence.

Mentors may help with goal setting, positive decision-making, accountability, difficult conversations, and referral to qualified professionals when needs exceed mentorship.

For young people who want Christian guidance, mentors can help them explore faith. For those who do not, general mentorship remains available without pressure to participate in religious activities.

Requirements

Youth-Safety First

Youth-facing volunteers will be appropriately screened before direct access to children. This may include identity verification, references, background screening, sex-offender registry screening, youth-safety training, and codes of conduct.

Ragnarok prioritizes youth safety. Confidentiality may be limited when safety concerns or applicable law require information to be reported to the appropriate authorities.
